Spring has sprung with more service improvements on Dublin Bus

Published on Friday, March 15, 2019

From Sunday, 24 March 2019 Dublin Bus is delighted to announce a variety of service improvements across our network.

Firstly, we would like to introduce Route 155

Route 155 will operate 7 days a week from IKEA (Ballymun) to Bray Rail Station, serving Dublin City University, Phibsborough, the city centre, Donnybrook, University College Dublin, Stillorgan Road, Cabinteely, Shankill and Bray. Route 155 will extend cross-city services between north Dublin and County Wicklow, bringing people, business, universities and communities together.

Furthermore, Route 13, Route 25, Route 25a, Route 25b, Route 38, Route 38a, Route 39 and Route 39a and Route 70 will all benefit from enhanced timetables.

Improvements range from:

  • Extra departures throughout the week
  • Earlier start times in the morning (especially on Sunday)
  • Improved weekend services

The routes will collectively benefit from enhanced reliability and improved journey times.

All changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority.
