We wish to advise customers that on Saturday 23rd April 2016, O’Connell Street will be closed to traffic due to several public gatherings by various groups. As a result the below diversions will be in place from 13:00hrs to 18:00hrs.

Northbound 
Routes 1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 13, 16, 38/a, 40, 44, 46a, 120, 122, 140, & City Tours
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge then divert via Eden Quay, Beresford Place, Gardiner Street, Parnell Street to Parnell Square and normal route.

Route 123
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge then divert via Eden Quay, Beresford Place, Gardiner Street left to Sean Mc Dermott Street right to Cumberland Street to Parnell Street and normal route. For nearest stop please proceed to stop 1505 on Parnell Street.

Route 747
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge then divert via Eden Quay to Busaras and back on to normal route. For passengers heading towards Dublin Airport, nearest stop is 7359 on Eden Quay and for customers heading towards Heuston Station, nearest stop is at Busaras.

Southbound

Normal route to O’Connell Street then divert via Cathal Brugha Street, Sean Mc Dermott Street, Gardiner Street, Memorial Road, Custom House Quay, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay and back on to normal route.

Route 123
Normal route to Summerhill then divert left to Gardiner Street, Memorial Road, Custom House Quay, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay and back on to normal route.

Route 747
Normal route to Talbot Street then divert via Gardiner Street to Memorial Road, Custom House Quay, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay and back on to normal route.
