As part of the National Transport Authority’s public transport awareness Summer 2016 campaign, there will be two weeks of Kids go Free this July and August. From Monday 25th July to Sunday 7th August all children aged 4 to 18 years will travel for free on Dublin Bus services when using a Child Leap card.
To avail of the free offer, the child must validate their Child Leap card at the smartcard validator on the right-hand side as they enter the bus. Each child must have an individual Child Leap card, children aged 4 to 15 years can us the anonymous card while children aged 16 to 18 years must have a personalised card.
The Kids go Free promotion also applies to DART and Luas services, however, Airlink, Tours, Nitelink and contracted services are not included. Children without a Child Leap card must pay the appropriate fare.
