We wish to advise customers of the following Easter Weekend bus service arrangements and diversions.
Good Friday 30 March 2018
A weekday service will operate on all routes with the exception of the routes listed below:
Routes 25x, 27x, 32x, 46e, 51x, 116, and 118.
Nitelinks will be operating.
A limited service will operate on the following routes:
Route 33x
Departures at 07.15, 07.30 and 07.55 from Skerries
Departures at 16.30, 17.00 and 18.00 from Custom House Quay
Route 41x
Departures at 07.50 from River Valley and 07.45 from Knocksedan via Glen Ellan
Departures at 17.00 and 17.30 from UCD to Swords Manor via River Valley
Route 51d
Departure at 07.45 from Clondalkin
Departure at 17.45 from Aston Quay
Route 66x
Departures at 07.30 and 07.55 from Straffan Road via Easton Road
Departures at 17.10 and 17.30 from UCD
Route 67x
Departures at 07.20 from Celbridge via Aghards Road and 07.50 via Main Street
Departures at 17.00 and 17.20 (via Aghards) from UCD
The following departures will not operate on the routes below:
Route 84x
Departures at 06.50, 10.30 and 13.30 from Newcastle and the 12.00, 15.50 and 17.00 from Hawkins Street will not operate.
Route 84
Departure at 17.30 from Newcastle will not operate.
Holy Saturday 31 March 2018
There will be a Saturday service and a full Nitelink service will operate.
Easter Sunday 1 April 2018
A Sunday service will be in operation and there will be no Nitelink service. There will be temporary bus diversions in the City Centre to facilitate the Easter Rising Commemorations until approximately 15.00. As a result the following diversions will be in place;
Northbound Routes at O’Connell Bridge
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge then divert right to Eden Quay, Beresford Place, Gardiner Street, Left onto Parnell Street and back on to normal route.
Southbound Routes at O’Connell Street
Normal route onto O’Connell Street then divert left to Cathal Brugha Street right to Marlborough Street, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay to D’Olier Street and back on to normal route.
Route 123
Towards Marino
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge, then right onto Eden Quay, left into Beresford Place, Gardiner Street, left onto Sean McDermott Street, right onto Cumberland Street right onto Parnell Street and back on to normal route.
Towards Walkinstown
Normal route to Sean McDermott Street then divert left to Marlborough Street, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay to D’Olier Street and back on to normal route.
Route 747
Towards Heuston Station
Depart Dublin Airport, normal route to Talbot Street then divert to Gardiner Street, Beresford Place, Memorial Road, Custom House Quay, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay to D’Olier Street and back on to normal route.
Towards Dublin Airport
Normal route to O’Connell Bridge then divert right to Eden Quay to Bus Aras and back on to normal route.
DoDublin Tours
Towards terminus
Normal route to Bachelor’s Walk then divert straight to Eden Quay, left onto Marlborough Street, right onto Abbey Street, Gardiner Street, left onto Sean McDermott St and terminate.
From terminus
Depart Sean McDermott Street, left to Marlborough Street, Rosie Hackett Bridge, Burgh Quay to D’Olier Street and back on to normal route.
From 10.00 to 14.00 the following diversions will be in place;
Routes 29a, 31/a/b and 32
Will depart Talbot Street stop.
Route 130
Will terminate at stop 297, Eden Quay.
Route 41/b/c and 33
Will terminate at stop 300, Eden Quay.
Easter Monday 2 April 2018
A Sunday service will be in operation and there will be no Nitelink service.
