Have a Ghoulishly Merry Time this Christmas with Dublin Bus Ghostbus Tour

Today Dublin Bus announced its Christmas schedule for their Ghostbus Tour. Avoid the dull conversation and predictable annual Christmas party and mark the end of the working year with a unique and memorable night on the Dublin Bus Ghostbus Tour.

From today, Dublin Bus’ Ghostbus Tour is operating at 8pm from Monday to Thursday and 7.30pm and 9.30pm on Friday and Saturday until the 22nd December. To further celebrate the festive season, anyone who books online will receive a 20% discount.  

Dublin is famous for elegant Georgian squares and graceful architecture, however often behind the façades of splendour, lurks stories of gruesome tales and ghostly happenings! For almost 15 years Dublin Bus has taken people through the mysteries of the supernatural and sometimes demonic forces which stalk the streets of Dublin city with the fiendishly fun Ghostbus Tour.

The tour is an eclectic mix of comedy, history and spine chilling ghost stories. This unique attraction, with sinister accessories and dark atmosphere are not for the squeamish. As you settle in for the evening the resident storyteller takes you on a spellbinding trip through Dublin’s sinister past.

During the tour passengers will learn about the real origins of Dracula and his Dublin born inventor; Bram Stoker and recreate the strange activities of Dr. Clossey at the College of Physicians. The tour also visits the Crypt at Christ Church Cathedral and St. Audeon’s and the Forty Steps which is haunted by Darkey Kelly; an 18th Century Madame whose ghost is said to wander up and down the steps.

Dublin Bus launched the Ghostbus Tour in 1998 and it has been spreading the spook since then. The tour is ideally suited to private parties. Tickets for the tour are priced at €28 per person or €22.40 per person when booked online. The tour lasts for approximately for 2 hours and begins from Dublin Bus Headquarters on O’Connell Street.

The tour is back after Christmas on 27th December.  It will not operate on the 30th, 31st of December and the 1st January.
