Dublin City Business Improvement District Teams Up with An Post and Dublin Bus to Bring You The Ultimate in City Christmas Shopping Convenience

This Christmas, Dublin City Business Improvement District has teamed up with An Post and Dublin Bus to offer the ultimate in Christmas shopping convenience with their Shop and Drop free bag-minding service. Shop and Drop allows shoppers to drop off cumbersome shopping bags at locations in the GPO Arcade on Henry Street and on the 3rd floor of the St. Stephens Green shopping centre, to be stored completely free of charge.

Their Christmas bounty can then be picked up the next day or delivered right to their door by An Post, leaving city visitors free to continue their shopping or take in the city’s festive fun. As an added treat, the first 100 lucky Shop and Drop customers who select this option will be offered delivery free of charge, saving them even more and adding some extra sparkle to their Christmas.

A key benefit of this handy service is that shoppers can use one of the city’s great public transport options, such as Dublin Bus without being laden down with shopping bags.

Starting from Friday, 25th November and running from Thursdays through to Mondays until Monday, 19th December (Mondays open for collection only), Shop and Drop will take the stress out of shopping in the city and bring the fun back to the Christmas shopping experience.

For information and opening hours of Shop and Drop, and a list of great things to do over the Christmas period in the city, check out Dublin City Business Improvement District’s newly launched Christmas website www.dublinatchristmas.ie or download the brochure.
