Routes 5, 7, 7a, 7b, 7d, 8, 11/a and 11b changes

As part of Network Direct, Dublin Bus is pleased to announce the implementation of revised routes 7, 7b, 7d, 8 and 11 from Sunday 26th June 2011. These services will provide our customers with increased comfort, reliability and punctuality.

Route 7 will have revised timetable and will be extended to Mountjoy Square.

Route 7b
will take advantage of the bus priority on the Monkstown Link Road with a peak time service to and from the City.

Route 7d will have a revised timetable and revised routing.

Route 8
will have a revised timetable and will be extended to Mountjoy Square.

Routes 11/a/b will be amalgamated and operate as Route 11. It will significantly enhance the connections to Sandyford Industrial Estate from Finglas, Ballymun, Home Farm Road, Drumcondra, City Centre, Leeson Street, Ranelagh, Clonskeagh and Goatstown with all journeys terminating in Sandyford Industrial Estate (Beacon area). The revised service will also provide improved consistency between departures.

Route 5 will be withdrawn as part of this change. Please see Routes 11 and 47 for alternative services.

Route 7a will be withdrawn as part of this change. Please see Route 59 for alternative service.
