Revisions to Prepaid Tickets, now moving to Leap Card

Over the coming months, Dublin Bus is simplifying its range of ticket options for customers. Some prepaid tickets will be withdrawn from sale and others will start to move to Leap Card.  Please see below for implementation dates.

Friday 2nd May
The 5 Day and 30 Day Rambler Adult tickets and 1 Day Family Rambler are moving to Leap. These tickets can now be loaded on to a Leap Card which you
can buy for €5 (fully refundable deposit) at any of our ticket agents. 

Friday 11th April
The following tickets will no longer be available to purchase at Dublin Bus ticket agents and customers should avail of multi operator capping, see table below;
- Adult 1, 3 and 7 Day Bus/Rail
- Family 1 Day Bus/Rail
- Adult 1, 7 and 30 Day Bus/Luas
- Student 7 and 30 Day Bus/Luas
- Child 1 and 7 Day Bus/Luas

Friday 14th March
5 and 30 Day Student Rambler paper tickets are no longer available to purchase. These tickets can now be loaded on to your Student Travelcard - Leap Card at any of our ticket agents. 

Friday 7th March
1 Day Rambler Adult and 10 Journey Travel 90 Schoolchild tickets were withdrawn and are no longer available to purchase.

Friday 21st February
3 Day Rambler Adult and 5 Day Rambler Child tickets were withdrawn and are no longer available to purchase.

Customers can now avail of reduced fares on Leap Card with expenditure being capped daily and weekly for adults, students and children.
