Today the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Oisín Quinn, launched a new venture for Dublin Bus Tours.
The Dublin – Land & Sea ticket combines two of Dublin’s best loved tourist activities. The ticket offers the award winning Dublin Bus Hop-on Hop-off tour and a 75 minute cruise on any of five daily departures on the MV St. Bridget with Dublin Bay Cruises for just €30.
Once you purchase your ticket you can decide where and when you wish to travel. The MV St. Bridget can be boarded at Howth, Dún Laoghaire or Sir John Rogerson’s Quay. From Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, visitors can hop on the Dublin Bus Tour at Cardiff Lane and enjoy the best sights Dublin City has to offer for two days.
At the launch, Lord Mayor of Dublin, Oisín Quinn said; “I’m delighted to launch this new offering for visitors to Dublin city. This initiative from Dublin Bus and Dublin Bay cruises can only serve to enhance their experience and will enable them to experience the best of the city’s attractions and the beauty of its coastline.”
Manager of Dublin Bus Tours, Miriam Brady, highlights the importance of such a partnership for Dublin Tourism; “Dublin is a fantastic city with so much to offer. Within 30 minutes of the city visitors can be in the mountains or on a blue flag beach. Our hop on hop off tour gives visitors an overview of the city and our Fáilte Ireland guides are proud to show off “their Dublin” and share their experiences with visitors. We are proud to team up with Dublin Bay cruises to offer a new and unique experience to touring in Dublin.”
Also included in this special partnership are two extra incentives. Entrance for the Little Museum of Dublin, which is normally valued at €7, is free for those availing of the Dublin Land & Sea Ticket. In addition, customers can avail of a free walking tour with one of Dublin’s most famous historians, Pat Liddy, normally valued at €10.
