Dublin Bus and Culture Night 2012

Dublin Bus is delighted to announce that we are an official transport partner for Culture Night 2012. 

On Friday, September 21st 2012, locals and visitors around Ireland can enjoy the unique experience of Culture Night. This is a free night of entertainment, discovery and adventure taking place around Ireland. It is an initiative co-ordinated by Temple Bar Cultural Trust and supported by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, along with other regional offices and authorities.

Museums, galleries, churches, historic houses, artists’ studios and cultural centres will open their doors to welcome people of all ages to taste and sample their cultural delights for free all over the country.

Dublin will have it’s very own Culture night with 154 venues taking part for a free night of entertainment.

Dublin Bus are providing free shuttle buses throughout the evening for your convenience. There are 3 Routes to choose from for free travel to and from the event/s you choose to attend:

Route A: To and from Bachelor’s Walk. Click here for a full route map.

Route C: To and from Trinity College.  Click here for a full route map. 

There will be events in the following areas of Dublin and you can take the following routes in and out of the City Centre:
Heuston / Museum Quarter – take routes 25, 26, 66, 66a, 66b, 67, 69 and 145 to Parkgate St.
Historic Quarter – catch any bus going to the City Centre
Temple Bar & North of Liffey - catch any bus going to the City Centre
North Georgian Quarter - catch any bus going to the City Centre
Trinity College/Docklands - catch any bus going to the City Centre or the 151 to Docklands
South Georgian Quarter - catch any bus going to the City Centre
