Changes to services in the Citywest, Tallaght, Walkinstown, Crumlin, Coolock and Edenmore areas

Dublin Bus is pleased to announce changes to services in the Citywest, Tallaght, Walkinstown, Crumlin, Coolock and Edenmore areas.

As part of Network Direct from Sunday 11th September, a more direct, high frequency, punctual bus service will be introduced to the above areas. These changes will involve existing routes 27, 27x, 42a, 42b, 50, 56, 56a, 77, 77a & 104.  All revised services will operate timetables with more customer friendly timetables with consistent intervals between departures.

Key changes include a revised cross city service (route 27) operating every 10 minutes at peak times. Route 27 will provide more direct journeys for customers and improve travel options for customers in the city centre. Route 77a, operating every 10 minutes at peak times, will now serve Citywest providing improved transport options for customers in Citywest, Killinarden, Old Bawn Balrothery and Tymon.

As part of the redesign of the above services revised Route 77 and Route 27 will be combined and will operate as Route 27. Route 27 will operate every 10 mins at peak times from Tallaght to Edenmore (Glenwood Rd.) via The Square, Crumlin Hospital, The Coombe, Christchurch, Connolly Rail Station, Bus Áras, I.F.S.C, Fairview and the Malahide Road.

Route 27a will replace Route 42b and will operate every 30 minutes during the day time with more customer friendly timetables.

Route 77a will operate every 10 minutes at peak times. Route 77a will operate from Citywest to Ringsend Road via Killinarden Heights. Blessington Road, Tymon Park, Balrothery, Old Bawn and Seskin View.

Route 104 will be revised and will operate from Clontarf to Beaumont Hospital via Mount Prospect Ave, CRC, Harmonstown, Donaghmede Shopping Centre, Clare Hall and Northside Shopping Centre.

 Routes 42a, 50 and 56 will be withdrawn as part of this change
