We wish to advise customers of timetable and routing changes to Routes 59 and 111 from Sunday 13November 2016. Route 8 will no longer operate from Friday 11 November.
Route 59 will operate from Dún Laoghaire to Druid’s Chair Killiney via Dalkey, Killiney Towers Roundabout, Avondale Road, Cluny Grove, Ballinclea Road and Killiney Road. This route will have a frequency of every 60 minutes, Monday to Saturday, with a slightly reduced frequency on Sunday.
Route 111 will operate from Dalkey to Bride’s Glen Luas Stop via Dún Laoghaire, York Road, Upper Glenageary Road, Sallynoggin, Rochestown Avenue, Churchview Road, Loughlinstown Park, N11 Loughlinstown Hospital and will terminate at Bride’s Glen Luas Stop. This route will have a frequency of every 60 minutes, Monday to Saturday.
Routes 59 and 111 will provide a combined half hour frequency from Dalkey to Dún Laoghaire. As a result of the improved service provided by Routes 59 and 111, Route 8 will no longer operate.
These changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority.
