Welcome to my latest instalment of Network News. It has been an exciting time for us here in Dublin Bus as we launched DoDublin, our new brand identity for our popular sightseeing tours. Formerly Dublin Sightseeing, it will now be known as DoDublin. Our new brand, DoDublin, is powerful, contemporary, and reaffirms our position as market leaders in the industry.
DoDublin is your guide to Dublin, ‘the Dubliner’s guide to the city and county’. We’re connecting visitors to the essence of Dublin; the locals, the craic, the top spots, the culture, the history. But it isn’t just for tourists. Our tours are the best way to experience Dublin for families and those who want to learn more about their capital city, those who want to become a visitor in their own city.
Our Commercial Department has been offering sightseeing tours across the capital city and county since 1988. Since then, our tours offering has gone from strength to strength and last year we carried 2.5 million customers on our commercial services.
Our team has spent years getting to know the city inside and out allowing us to create experiences for customers that give a true understanding of the character of Dublin, its people and its stories.
Our 63 DoDublin drivers are all Dubliners who are knowledgeable, fun and Fáilte Ireland trained. They have spent years getting to know the city inside and out allowing DoDublin to create experiences and tell stories that enable visitors to get under the skin of the city and relive its history. DoDublin drivers are always adapting to make sure they know what’s going on in the city. I am proud to say that no-one knows Dublin better than our DoDublin guides. They know what’s going on and the best places to go to experience the real Dublin. I’d urge visitors and locals alike to hop on board and learn more about our capital city.
