Amanda Palmer

Formerly one half of the Bertolt Brecht-meets-The Lost Boys theatrical punk duo The Dresden Dolls, Amanda Palmer is now a solo performer with a reputation for theatricality and ferocity.

Palmer is also well known for having a seemingly unbreakable bond with her fanbase with much of her work in recent years being enabled by crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter – where she famously raised over one million dollars to make an album – and more recently onto Patreon, enabling her to continue her work outside of the established record company system.

An Evening with Amanda Palmer sees accompanying herself on both piano and ukulele, as well as inviting guests on stage to perform with her, while Palmer digs through her astonishing catalogue, from the first Dresden Dolls records to her brand new album of covers of the band The Mountain Goats.

With special guest Andrew O'Neill.
